World Council recommendations

During its meeting on 30 March, the ICC Executive Board agreed its recommendations for leadership positions to be put forward to the ICC World Council for elections in June.

These included recommendations for ICC First Vice-Chair Maria Fernanda Garza to become ICC Chair, which would make her the first woman Chair of ICC in the history of our global institution. Other recommendations included Philippe Varin (France) to become First Vice-Chair, and Nayla Comair Obeid (Lebanon) and Harsh Pati Singhania (India) to take on roles as ICC Vice-Chairs.

The ICC World Council will take recommendations into consideration for elections during its next meeting scheduled to take place in Mexico City on 14 June.
