ICC Iran held an online training course regarding the “International Trade Contracts” on January, 15, 2022.
During this training course, “Dr. Mohsen Mohebi”-ICC Iran Arbitration Commission Secretary- and Dr. Erfan Lajevardi- a judiciary lawyer and legal affairs and contracts expert, delivered a lecture for the participants. The participants were Banking Experts, Foreign Trade Managers and Specialists, Importers and Exporters, Corporate CEOs, Insurance Experts, Lawyers and Arbitrators.
Issues reviewed and discussed were as follows:
• The characteristics of international trade contracts
• Introducing various types of international agreements
• The fundamental Clauses of international trade contracts
• The characteristics of contracts in terms of interpretation and implementation of contracts
• The contractual guarantees and issues relevant to the goods delivery and transportation
• The contract implementation obstacles
• The governing law of the contracts and relevant disputes resolution methods
In the end , the lecturers answered the participants’ questions.
