Joelle Yazbeck from the ICC-ESCWA Centre of Entrepreneurship took the stage as a panellist at the prestigious GWC Forum 2023 – Fostering Legacy, organised by GWC, the official logistics partner for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022.
The forum, held on 8-9 November in Doha, explored the legacy of the World Cup and discussed how Qatar’s MSME ecosystem is enabling growth across the region. Yazbeck's key messages were centred around MSMEs embracing digitalisation and incorporating sustainability into their strategies and operations to thrive in the evolving landscape of mega sports events.
GWC Forum – Empowering MSMEs in the Digital Era is a forum that will focus on how logistics providers can help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) leverage digital technologies to improve their operations and grow their businesses.
The forum will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and MSMEs to share their insights and experiences, and to develop solutions to the challenges facing MSMEs in the logistics industry.
