We strongly encourage exciting and interesting applications with a personalized approach including your motivation for applying. Any past applications will not be taken into consideration.
Ten places will be reserved for newcomer universities to the ICC Mediation Competition. Universities that have not participated in the last two Competitions (2023 and/or 2022) will also be considered as newcomers. Should those places not be filled, the remaining places will be offered to returning universities.
The Organizing Committee selects universities based on the following criteria (in no specific order):
In the event that the above is not sufficient to make a selection between universities, the Organizing Committee will make a decision at its absolute discretion.
The application process for universities will run from 25 September - 27 October 2023.
For the 2024 edition, ICC will select 150 trained and experienced professionals from around the world to participate in the Competition. Professionals serve as mediators in the mediation sessions, or as judges that evaluate and score the students’ performance.
Submit your application to become a professional until 10 November 2023.
