Chamber Model Innovation (CMI) framework was born out of the efforts of the WCF Taskforce Chamber 4.0 in 2021.
The main purpose of CMI has been to help Chambers around the world to overcome the grand challenge of staying relevant in the environment of rapid technological changes and evolving customers’ needs. Since then, CMI has been recognized and adopted by Chambers across multiple continents.
The speed of change for technology, business and society is accelerating. Today most Chambers of Commerce are facing the acute challenge of adapting to the new realities where customers’ needs evolve rapidly, making the customary services and old Chamber’s models irrelevant. The Chamber Model Innovation (CMI) methodology provides a pathway and tangible solutions for how any Chamber could start innovating continuously while putting customers’ needs at the forefront of service development.
CMI outcomes:
Organized by ICC WCF and Dubai Chambers, the “CMI around the World” series provides a perfect platform to learn about practical CMI case studies and aims to strengthen the transformational capabilities of peer chambers. The three virtual sessions will take place from September - December 2022. Chambers will come together to share their CMI experiences and learn from each other’s challenges and success stories.
