ICC prepares for the Internet Governance Forum

ICC is once again convening business leaders to participate in the UN IGF to discuss pressing issues like Internet fragmentation, connectivity for all, data governance, trust and security online and more.

 

The Sixteenth Annual Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will be hosted by the Government of Poland under the overarching theme: ‎‎‘’Internet United’’.

 

The program is built around the six issue areas:

 

  • Economic and Social Inclusion and Human Rights
  •  Universal Access and Meaningful Connectivity
  • Emerging Regulation: Market Structure, Content, Data and Consumer Rights and Protection
  •  Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change
  • Inclusive Internet Governance Ecosystems and Digital Cooperation
  • Trust, Security and Stability.

 

This year’s IGF will take place in a hybrid format, both onsite and virtually, on 6-10 December 2021 in Katowice,-Poland.
